Holier Than Thou

£350.00

Artist: Jacob Kamara

Fine Art Giclee Print

A limited series of seven works by the creator of THE GREAT INDOORS, Jacob Kamara - ‘A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothes’ captures a seething journey of betrayal, obsessive self correction, self destruction and emotional rebirth.

The works are created using an intimate method of Scanography, which is conducted in a pitch black room. The scans are then stitched together - sometimes anatomical correctly, sometimes not.

The subject, or beast as the Artists refers to him is then erected in a similar fashion to that of a Cokentryce, a medieval-feast centrepiece - stitched together with varying pieces of meat.

‘The Beast’ in this series is actually made up of the artist, his partner and his partners ‘friend’ - also secret lover… A fact that the artist, unbeknown to many, was in fact privy too.

Limited Edition of 50 printed on Bamboo Paper.

Print Size 42cm x 57cm.

Each image is sold unframed and comes presented in its own archival box.

Our mission is simple: to provide unwavering support and mentorship to our creative community, empowering them to thrive in an ever-evolving artistic landscape.

With our expertise in managing art usage agreements and syndication, we ensure a hassle-free experience for all involved.

At ADORN THE COMMON, diversity isn't just a buzzword – it's a core value. We're committed to fostering an inclusive environment where artists of every background and perspective are welcomed and celebrated.
