The impact of this artwork extends far beyond the confines of the gallery walls. It has the potential to ignite conversations, challenge societal norms, and inspire change. Its message, though open to interpretation, is a catalyst for dialogue and introspection, urging individuals to question their beliefs and perspectives.
Description
In 2013, Kamara captured a stark moment on an expired roll of film from the 70's, embracing the beauty of analog photography. With deliberate intention, he overdeveloped the film in his darkroom, a technique he frequently delves into in his artistic journey. The resulting negatives were then meticulously scanned, printed, and scanned again, creating a captivating image with meticulous layers.
This arresting piece, known as Untitled #2, is a significant part of Kamara's ongoing project titled 'Delicate Little Thing.' This collection is an intriguing fusion of new and archived images, encompassing photographs, scans, and sculptures. Through this artistic exploration, Kamara delves into our innate yearning for intimate connections, both with nature and with one another. It is a profound reflection on the delicate threads that bind us together in this vast world.
The piece is signed and comes with a certificate of Authenticity.

Epsom and pebble grain leather, ziricote and tulipwood veneer framed marquetry.
Raw and beautiful. This painting is bold and luminous, exploring both the strength and vulnerability of the male physique. Part of the collection Unfolding Environments
'Queer living is ever evolving. Where once we were hidden due to both legal discrimination and historical prejudices, over the last several years queer people are able to live a more open and varied life. Whilst still far from equal for so many these steps forward are promising.
This collection embraces modern gay living. Relationships in settings which for so long were not easily attained. To be gay in a shared living space amongst your own shared possessions - items which were almost alien.

Solace, a series of one of a kind oil paintings about Reflection. The collection originates from the Covid pandemic, inspired by the "Grand Style" of 18th Century art and the visceral aesthetic of Francis Bacon. The portraits take solace among classical composition, using contemporary deconstructive techniques and are deliberately ambiguous and anonymous. The obscure subjects are left open to individual interpretation.
A faceless figure or perhaps you see a perfectly portrayed character, either way this highly coveted mystery guest is the perfect addition to any contemporary collection.

The Still life of a Table, centres around the banal and mundane still-life scenes set around the family dinner table. Drawing references from still life painting theory, ‘Looking at the Overlooked’ (Norman Bryson) and viewing the dinner table as an important piece of our basic cultural furniture, the series investigates the concept that objects can be evocative presences because of a particular moment and the circumstances which they come into our lives. This is a device used to create an interchange between memory and imagination.

‘Francois’ is an analog metallic photograph taken from a series of analogue portraits captured on 35mm, expired Kodak Gold which gives the images a rich 70’s tone. The images are then hand developed in a dark room.
