ADORN THE COMMON

This body of work is created by the brand’s founder Trevor Read, and shaped by his lived experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and his ongoing observations of the world around him. The collection explores themes of identity, belonging, intimacy, and resilience—often drawing from personal moments and quiet reflections on everyday life.

Material exploration plays a central role in the practice. Through experimentation and process-driven making, the work embraces imperfection and transformation, allowing materials to guide meaning as much as intention. Adorn the Common exists at the intersection of personal narrative and shared experience, seeking to honour the beauty of the ordinary while creating space for visibility, reflection, and connection.
